There is a small car park at the rear of the hotel with approximately 15 spaces, these are allocated on a first come basis. Alternatively, there is free and unrestricted parking in the roads surrounding the hotel.
Welcoming guests since 1897, this Edwardian Grade II-listed building has an elegant style and an excellent sea front location. Having recently completed a full refurbishment of both our common spaces and our 30 sea view bedrooms of varying sizes, we have kept the elegant Edwardian character of the building, from stained glass windows to our original grand staircase. Our newly renovated boutique rooms now offer a modern, comfortable, and chic getaway.
Children of all ages are welcome at the Cliftonville.Please let us know ahead of your visit if you require any additional facilities or amenities during your stay. Tucked away in the lounge area is a selection of family board games and a stash of Lego for little fingers to create a masterpiece.

The Cliftonville is in a prime location just a quarter of a mile from the town centre as well as the iconic Cromer Pier, famous for crab fishing and it's end of pier theatre, one of only five in the UK. Enjoy a plethora of independent shops and eateries in our lovely town, our hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy the town during your stay.
As well as exploring our seaside town, there are many other activities available in nearby towns and villages too such as Sheringham, Holt, Wells-next-the-sea and many more! We are located just 23 miles from Norwich City centre. Norwich is one of Britain’s most beautiful historic cities, with The Lanes, Norwich Market and Chantry place being some of the best places in Britain for shopping, Norwich is accessible by train from the nearby station.
Dogs are welcome at our hotel and all of our bedrooms are dog friendly. There is a £15 charge per dog, per night. Dining with four legged friends is in our lounge restaurant.
The Cliftonville is located a quarter of a mile from Cromer train station and is also located a quarter of a mile from the Cromer bus interchange. From these transport sites you can travel to nearby towns such as; Norwich, Sheringham, Holt, Wells-next-the-sea, and many more.
Parking is available at the rear of the hotel, and in neighbouring streets offering free and unrestricted parking.
We have wheelchair access at the side of the hotel, lift accessible floors and wheelchair accessible rooms.
Though we have wheelchair accessible rooms, please note that none of our en-suite bathrooms are wet rooms.
We have a gorgeous selection of celebration spaces, for all occasions. Our unique and spacious Ballroom is the perfect venue for weddings, we are the only venue in the town centre fully licensed to hold wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions and parties for up to one hundred people. The Blogg Bar, Bolton room, and Buxton room are perfect spaces for meetings and other intimate functions. We can also offer meeting spaces including the use of a projector and screen.
